Folk music is orginally the name given to the traditional music. However the term folk is often used to designate music composed by sing and acoustic guitar. World music is the extension of folk music, including ethnic, traditional or folkloric inspirations.

Country is a mixing of traditionnal american music that origininated to southern United States of America in mid 1920s. This genre of music is derived from folk music and blues. Johnny Cash, George Strait, Hank Williams, Brad Paisley are some of the famous artists of country music.
